Nassim K.: Ms. Zamfirescu I wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put in providing us with the best education possible. You’ve been the best math teacher I ever had and the person whom I owe all the skills I gained the past 2 years. You are a super math teacher who I respect and above all look up to. I always saw and was grateful for the amount of work you put in everything no matter how small the assignment is. The whole school really owes you a big thank you for all the work you put on your back to keep our school in the best ranks and make our lives easier. There is no way I can thank you enough for everything and I can only apologize for not always meeting your expectations. It’s been a pleasure being your student and I hope you reach the highest levels of success and by that achieve your greatest dreams. Thank you for being more than a teacher.
Neila Z.: Ms Z, I just wanted to tell you how thankful I am for all the support and help and laughs and joy that you brought us during these past two years. I feel like I am such a different person now. Although the IB was an amazing experience that helped me develop the person I am today, I feel like math class with you contributed to who I am at this moment the most. I will miss our amazing atmosphere in math class where we balanced fun and work, making it an incredible experience and made me enjoy math so much more. I applaud you for all your hard work not only as our math teacher but also as an IB coordinator which I can say that it is an extremely demanding job. The way that you can manage to do both is incredible and should be recognized. I wish you all the best in your new school (and I hope you wont forget our very special class of three people and badr
😂). I will never forget the “can you manage” or the times you would speak in Romanian without realizing it hahah! I will also never forget the day we went to the movies in Geneva, and the Geneva trip as a whole!!! Once again, thank you so much for these past two years. They were incredible!!!

Andrea PM: Hi Ms. Z, I just wanted to tell you that I am grateful for the past two years that I have had you as my Math Higher Level teacher. Math HL is the toughest course that I’ve ever taken and it is with your guidance and (above all) patience that I have come to love it.
I thank you for not giving up on us even though we started the IB without knowing some of the basic conceptual knowledge required by the course.
You’ve been strict these past two years. Yet, never to the extent where it has hurt any of us but rather to the point where we’ve realized that we needed to work harder to learn that which we were missing in the first place.
I thank you for always pushing us to our limits and helping us come this far. Phrases such as ” You can do 1000 problems but, on the test, you’ll have the 1001″, “these lines never met, don’t meet and will never meet ” or “Math HL is forever ” are engraved in my heart (hahaha and mind!).
I truly wish you the best and hope we’ll meet someday 🙂 !
